Technical Conditions (TC) is a document regulating the process of production. It defines the quality and safety requirements for the product in accordance with the approved standards and Technical regulations of the Customs Union.
Why does producer/importer need Technical Conditions?
Technical Conditions is required to prepare documents to confirm quality of the product in accordance with local or international standards (Compliance Certificate, Declaration, License etc.)
Legal Norms Regulating Development of Technical Conditions:
General requirements for development of Technical Conditions are established by GOST 2.114-95 Unified System of Design Documentation. Technical Conditions. (Approved by Decree No.425 issued by Gosstandart of Russia on August 8, 1995);
GOST R 51740-2001 Technical Regulations for Food Products. General Requirements to Development (Approved by Decree No. 191-ст issued by Gosstandart of Russia on April 25, 2001) regulates technical conditions in respect of food products.
Requirements to Technical Conditions:
Technical conditions shall contain all requirements to product, its manufacturing process, control and delivery which is impracticable to include into other technical documentation (usually design documentation).
Technical conditions shall not be below the standards applicable to products, as well as shall not contradict them.
